Timeline

  1. FOI

Reply due to our narrowed FOI

On placement restrictions and the site assessment. See it.

  2. FOI

    Narrowed FOI request submitted

Two questions only, as the MoJ suggested: any placement restriction for people convicted of sexual offences against children, and the site assessment for the reopening. More narrowed requests will follow one at a time. See the request.

  3. FOI

MoJ refuses all three FOI requests on cost

The MoJ treated our three requests as one and refused under section 12 (cost limit): We are unable to confirm if the MoJ holds the information you have requested within the cost limit. It said answering would mean examining numerous records across the Service relating to Ealing Approved Premises, including individual offender's records, going back to 2010. No exemption was applied, and it invited a narrower request: we may be able to answer a refined request within the cost limit. (MoJ ref 261012010). The reply is on each request: 1, 2, 3.

  4. HMPPS

Site visit cancelled; hostel closing for up to six weeks of works

A ward councillor told residents the Probation Service cancelled the proposed visit to 2 Corfton Road because of unforeseen intrusive ground works commencing imminently, expected to last up to six weeks. During this time the premises will be closed to all residents, visitors and non-essential personnel, including staff. A future visit is to be arranged as soon as they are in a position to do so.
